About Me

My photo
I absolutely LOVE what I do! I started designing jewelry over eight years ago, and I still love to bead myself senseless every chance I get! I have a wonderful, patient husband, 5 grandchildren, 2 baby goats, and 20 chickens to keep me busy and out of trouble (?) when I'm not senselessly beading! www.BeadUSenseless.etsy.com

  3. This set looks very cool! I like the pearl layer but it doesn't take away from the main layer.... which looks neat with the etching... or at least that's what I think it is... :o) Puurrrrddddyyyy! :o)

  4. Thank you, Everyone!! I see I have a new follower! You are my good friend from Etsy! Welcome! And thanks for checking back with me! How is your little girl????

Scrapper, I just love you..."etching"...how artistic-sounding...more like beating the heck out of the copper with a textured hammer!!!! ha! No frustrations here!!! I love these earrings! They are so much fun!

My metal work debuted at the craft show this past weekend. It was very well received, and I sold several pieces! I was so excited!!!

We were so fortunate to have such beautiful weather...we were lax and did not weight our tent down or keep the side walls handy. That turned out to be a big mistake! Around 3pm the wind started gusting and our plastic displays with jewelry sets started flying!!!! We eventually had to just take the jewelry off the displays and lay it all down on the shelves...not exactly pretty. Then the wind started blowing jewelry pieces OFF THE SHELVES!!!!! (Other tents were actually picked up off the ground and moved 10 feet!) My daughter, 9 yr. old granddaughter, and their 8 1/2 mos. pregnant neighbor were visiting. The 3 of them actually HELD DOWN THE TENT while we shovelled jewelry in the cases as fast as we could!!!! You can just imagine the joking going on with poor pg Liesl holding onto the tent leg...it looked so bad...but she had the extra weight on her to really be efficient at it!!!! hahahha! She is a great sport and a wonderful friend!! It was a lot of fun with a touch of stress mixed in!!!!

We have another show this weekend, but we have learned our lesson...we will have weights, sides, and fans!
